Dear Emergency Medical Community
Emergency Medicine Physician Association of Turkey (EPAT) 15th National Emergency Medicine Congress & 6th Intercontinental Emergency Medicine and 6th International Critical Care Congress was held of 25-28 April 2019 at Antalya Kaya Plaza Hotel.
The adventure to the congress is briefly mentioned: For the congress, a team of more than one hundred people, including foreigners, consisting of faculty members and physicians working in all corners of country, was prepared by working for months. This valuable team made hundreds of Turkish-English visual posters and videos. EPAT President Prof Dr Basar CANDER, all the board members of EPAT and our secretaries of Congress have been in touch with this organization team at any moment and tried to resolve their needs immediately. This organization team worked fulltime until the congress and during the congress. After leaving all guests, they left the congress hotel. Our congress has started with a magnificent opening, which will be one of the congress dates in our country and in the world. During the opening ceremony, the President of EPAT, Prof Dr Basar CANDER, gave an excellent opening speech. Then, Prof Dr Bingür SÖNMEZ who win “The Gold Award of EPAT” this year, made a presentation. As EPAT, we congratulate Prof Dr Bingür SÖNMEZ for the award.
EPAT 2019 Congresses:

Activities throughout the congress continued in nine salons at the same time.

43 countries from four continents have actively worked with us.

Tens of internationally respected Emergency Medical Association Presidents were present. These presidents have stated that EPAT has become a global brand in Emergency Medicine in the presence of hundreds of people.

Over sixty foreign speakers from more than forty countries participated (more than seventy of the foreign speakers' requests were turned down for our quota).

More than two hundred foreign speakers told lectures at the congress

A total of 1450 active participants were registered at the congress.

EPAT Third Board/Qualification Exam was held. Despite the limitation of 40 people, we had to increase the quota due to the high demand.

At this congress, EPAT received cooperation proposals from more than twenty countries.
The Gala Night was one of the activities that marked the congress with its stage layout, award ceremony and fun. Awards in seven very important categories found the owner. We applauded the winners and shared their joy.
