Emergency Physicians Association of Turkey (EPAT) and Sonoschool has completed second European accredited point-of-care ultrasound course of Turkey successfully at Bahcesehir University Besiktas Campus. EPAT president Prof. Basar CANDER, Sonoschool president and EPAT board member Prof. E. Erol ÜNLÜER and our guest, the past president of Society for Emergency Medicine India (SEMI) Prof. Srinath KUMAR has started the course with opening speechs.
50 participants from inside and outside Turkey has participated our course which is accredited by European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (UEMS). Besides Emergency Medicine specialists, there was Anesthesiologists, Intensivists and Family Medicine specialists in our course.
Our faculty consisted physicians from Turkey, Egypt, United Kingdom and India. Both theoretical and hands-on trainings on live mannikins one-by-one were performed.
At the end of the second day, our participants have reviewed their knowledge by a funny knowledge competition and we had small gifts for top three of competition. At the end of the course, we have requested the participants to complete feedback forms about the course and lecturers and we had great feedbacks from them.
After completing the program and closing speechs of Prof. Dr. Başar CANDER, Prof. Dr. E. Erol ÜNLÜER and Prof. Dr. Srinath KUMAR, participants have taken their certificates from both EPAT and European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (UEMS) and we had a small celebration with a cake.
