Emergency Physicians Association of Turkey (EPAT) and Sonoschool has completed the first Point-of-Care ultrasound course in Egypt that is accredited by European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) successfully at Cairo Universit Medical School Kasr-el Ainy Hospital. This course is 13th international course of SonoSchool.
Sonoschool president and EPAT board member Prof. E. Erol ÜNLÜER and Prof. Dr. Sanaa Abd-el Kareem Helmy from Cairo University Medical School’s Anesthesiology and Critical Care unit has started the course with opening speechs. Fourty participants has participated our course which is accredited by European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). Both theoretical and hands-on trainings on live mannikins one-by-one were performed. At the end of the third day, our participants have reviewed their knowledge by a funny knowledge competition.
At the end of the course, we have requested the participants to complete feedback forms about the course and lecturers and we had great feedbacks from them. After completing the program and closing speechs of Prof. Dr. E. Erol ÜNLÜER and Prof. Dr. Sanaa Abd-el Kareem Helmy, participants have taken their certificates from both EPAT-SonoSchool and European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (UEMS) and we had a small celebration with a cake.
