Emergency Physicians Association of Turkey (EPAT) and Sonoschool has completed the fourth of the Point-of-Care ultrasound course series that is accredited by European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) successfully at Bahçeşehir University Medical School on May 28-29, 2022.
72 participants has participated our course which is accredited by EACCME from different specialities such as Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Intensive Care, Anesthesiology, Cardiovascular Surgery, Internal Medicine, Allergic Diseases and Physical and Rehabilitation Therapy in which there were participants from Greece, Malta, United Kingdom and South Africa as well as Turkey.
Emergency Medicine Specialist physicians from Turkey, Egypt and United Kingdom took part in the training team. Both theoretical and hands-on trainings on live mannikins one-by-one were performed and the trainees were also taught how to use the obtained knowledge and skills on the patient through case scenario studies carried out during the course.
After completing the program and closing speechs from EPAT President Prof. Dr. Başar CANDER, EPAT Board Member and SonoSchool President Prof. Dr. E. Erol ÜNLÜER, Society for Emergency Medicine India President Prof. Dr. Srinath KUMAR, and Society for Emergency Medicine India General Secretary Dr. Saravana KUMAR; participants have taken their certificates from both EPAT-SonoSchool and European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.
