Dear Colleagues,
Turkey is one of the earliest (1994) country that Emergency Medicine Specialist Training began in European, Asian and Middle Eastern area. In the twenty-six years, a lot of residents training on Emergency Medicine was given, many experts were trained and gained deep experience. Many people have contributed to this; we thank all of them. All this labor and experience should be crowned with a Text book. This project has brought together Turkey's experience in the field of Emergency Medicine and was published as a book and turned to face with the new edition. I've heard it many times from our foreign counterparts abroad: Emergency Medicine in Turkey has improved a lot, have their own two-volume text book now. This made me very happy. It may have deficiencies, errors, but this is how it works. The architect of this valuable project is Prof Dr Başar Cander. We would like to thank both him and everyone who contributed. We hope to present new projects and share them with you.
