SonoSchool organized a Point-of-Care Ultrasound course at Balıkesir University Faculty of Medicine!

SonoSchool, the ultrasonography training unit of the Emergency Medicine Physicians Association of Turkey (EPAT) held the Point-of-Care Ultrasound course at Balıkesir University Faculty of Medicine on 14-15 January 2023.

36 trainees attended the course which were specialist and assistants from different branches such as Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine. In addition, lots of Family Physician colleagues was attended to the course. “Case scenarios” training was given under the management of SonoSchool President Prof. Dr. E. Erol Ünlüer. In this session, our trainees made teams as pairs and managed the given case using their knowledge and skills of Point-of-Care Ultrasound. It is aimed to provide practical training on the use of the information given at the bedside. Our course was successfully completed with the distribution of certificates given by EPAT-SonoSchool to the participants.
